Safety
Construction projects, by their nature, involve a potential risk for personal injury, damage to equipment, property damage or possible damage to natural resources.
Recognizing that most accidents and injuries are preventable, Mount Construction is committed to promoting safety awareness. Our Safety Education Program begins with a 30-Hour OSHA Safety Training Course which all Project Managers, Field Superintendants, and Crew Foreman have completed.
We continue our safety program by sponsoring supplemental safety training in Trenching, Excavation, Competent Persons Training, Confined Space Training, First Aid, and CPR classes.
Our Safety Director maintains and enforces our safety protocol and works directly with loss prevention experts, employed by our insurance carriers, to evaluate our program through jobsite visits and audits of our records.
In addition, a Job Hazard Analysis aids in the planning of each project and daily "Toolbox Talks" are conducted at the jobsites to ensure that our crews understand any special precautions required to complete their task safely.
