Mount Construction donates to Toys for Tots

image of Mount Construction donating to Toys for TotsMount Construction Co., Inc., a long time supporter of the Toys for Tots program, donated several dozen toys today, as part of their efforts to help give back to the communities it serves.

Mount Construction has a long history of charitable donations, and the Mount Charitable foundation has been working with many local and national charities for the last 6 years.  The Mount Charitable Foundation hosts an annual Golf Tournament and has raised tens of thousands of dollars which is donated to various charitable organizations and needy families.

Mount Group Launches Harleysville Materials, LLC

The Mount Group, in partnership with Carpenter Brothers Materials, LLC of Telford, PA, announced the launch of Harleysville Materials, LLC.  Harleysville Materials owns and operates a full-service quarry in Montgomery County, PA along with a hot-mix asphalt plant.

The quarry produces two primary products: the highest quality red stone for a variety of uses including decorative, landscaping, and construction, and stone used in the construction industry.  The quarry’s aggregates are the highest-quality available and ready for immediate production and pick up or delivery.

“The Mount Group is extremely excited about the addition of Harleysville Materials to our group of companies as it integrates perfectly with our existing capabilities and allows us to leverage our current trucking and distribution infrastructure to provide another high-quality service to the Tri-State area”, said Dave Smith, Founder and CEO of the Mount Group.

Mount Construction Awarded Reconstruction of Rt 30 & Pomona Rd

Mount Construction was recently awarded the contract for the Rt. 30 (White Horse Pike) & Pomona Road project.

This NJDOT/Federal Project consists of the reconstruction of intersection in Township of Galloway, Atlantic County.

The project consists of the following:

  • Roadway Excavation
  • Milling/Paving
  • Installation of a rigid frame culvert
  • Installation of concrete vertical curbing
  • Significant drainage improvements

Rt 206 over Main St shifts to Eastbound Lane

Mount Construction completed work on the west-bound side of the Rt 206 bridge over Main St., in Columbus, NJ.  Traffic patterns have shifted as work begins on the east-bound side of the bridge.

Mount Construction Awarded US Rt 1 over Heathcote Brook Culvert Replacement project

Mount Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the 2010 Paving Program project for Routes 624, 628, 644, 659, 664, 669, and 7. This $5.4 million dollar project will cover the townships of Downe, Hopewell, Maurice River and Stow Creek.

Mount Responds to Emergency Interceptor Collapse

Willingboro MUA requests Mount Construction Emergency Response Teams to Beverly Rancocas Road in Willingboro where they have a 36” and 18” sanitary sewer mains collapse over 20’ deep and 50’ from a tributary of the Delaware River and under a bridge approach deck. Mount Construction crews mobilized immediately and have prevented the release of sewage, are are currently performing the necessary repairs.
