Mount Construction,
I am sorry that NJ politicians are trashing your reputation and good name and causing your firm to get a black eye. The newspapers are just adding fuel to the fire. Did you ever feel like you were between two guys who are shooting each other? Well, those throwing stones seem to be on one side of the fence and are using this whole yard situation as justification for their political gain and that is the bottom line!
It is the truth and we all know it! It is a shame a fine company has to suffer this humiliation after years of dedicated service and true care and concern for those in our community. These politicians are not helping Medford, they are hurting it to get ahead of the competition. What we have here is people making smart business decisions for the local Gov’t and the community over the past few years. They simply did what made sense. There was no ill intent or gain here. What happened to common sense. Have we all lost it? Who or what other entity would come in, clean up that area and improve it? Have you ever driven down that road and felt the beauty of the country? Do you think that was a mistake? All you have to do is look around and see the services we have, the conditions of the roads, dams and the infrastructure that is 1st class because we have a contractor who cares about this community because he lives here, because his kids live here and because his personal and business family are part of us. This company does so much for the community, individuals, schools and local charities.
What we are doing to this company is shameful when just a few years ago when we needed someone to step up and get this area together again after a devasting flood. From what I can see this company was the low bidder in 2004! Don’t forget the past and be knowledgeable about the present. Have some common sense!
