Mount Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the contract for Intersection Improvements at Fire Rd (CR 651) & Washington Avenue (CR 608), Egg Harbor Township for Atlantic County.

Mount Construction Co., Inc was the low bidder for the Device Cleaning & Inspection Statewide NJDOT Contract.

Mount Construction was awarded the contract for the 2010 Local Road Program for the Township of Maple Shade, Camden County, NJ.  This 11 month, $2.86 million dollar project consists of the following work:

The Mount Group, in partnership with Carpenter Brothers Materials, LLC of Telford, PA, announced the launch of Harleysville Materials, LLC.  Harleysville Materials owns and operates a full-service quarry in Montgomery County, PA along with a hot-mix asphalt plant.

The quarry produces two primary products: the highest quality red stone for a variety of uses including decorative, landscaping, and construction, and stone used in the construction industry.  The quarry’s aggregates are the highest-quality available and ready for immediate production and pick up or delivery.

Mount Construction was recently awarded the contract for the Rt. 30 (White Horse Pike) & Pomona Road project.

This NJDOT/Federal Project consists of the reconstruction of intersection in Township of Galloway, Atlantic County.

The project consists of the following:

• Roadway Excavation
• Milling/Paving
• Installation of a rigid frame culvert
• Installation of concrete vertical curbing
• Significant drainage improvements

Dave Smith, CEO and founder of Mount Construction, Co., Inc. and Mount Materials, was recently elected as the President of the Utility and Transportation Contractor Association (UTCA) at the organization’s June Membership Meeting.

Dave Smith will be inducted as the Chief Elected Officer of the 1,100 member association on the Saturday night of the UTCA convention in Atlantic City.  UTCA’s president-elect is president and founder of Mount Construction which is a heavy highway construction firm active throughout New Jersey since 1991. Dave Smith has served as a member of UTCA Board of Directors for 8 years and has been active with a number of association committees.

In recent years, he has moved his firm into greater diversification of work.

Mount Construction completed work on the west-bound side of the Rt 206 bridge over Main St., in Columbus, NJ.  Traffic patterns have shifted as work begins on the east-bound side of the bridge.

Mount Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the US Rt 1 over Heathcote Brook Culvert Replacement project, owned by the NJDOT.  This $2.2 million dollar project is located in the township of S. Brunswick.  Mount Construction Co., Inc and will enable Mount to further showcase their commitment to “Excellence in Construction”
