SALES ASSOCIATE – AGGREGATE & RECYCLING

We are currently seeking to hire an Aggregate / Recycling Sales Associate with future operations responsibilities to join our Team! To begin, this position will focus on our recycling operations based in Morrisville, PA, along with Aggregate Sales in Central/Southern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania for our Quarry based in Harleysville, PA. The base of operations for this position will be at our Headquarters building in Berlin, NJ.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales team activities and learn operations
  • Focus on new opportunities in the recycling division
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients and product lines

Qualitifcations:

  • Previous experience in Aggregate sales, customer service or related field
  • Operations background along with geology background a plus
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of the area and relationships with local contractors and suppliers in the construction industry
  • Ability to build a rapport with clients and sales group
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and full knowledge in excel, word and microfsoft office suite

Salary commensurate with experience.

Triaxles for day and evening work. Drivers must possess valid CDL and insurance.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Oversee heavy civil construction projects consisting of excavation, water/sanitary/storm pipe work, concrete and structural steel. Supervise all trades people, coordinate and schedule equipment, trucking and subcontractors.

PROJECT MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide preconstruction leadership and support for staff
  • Manage project controls and performance with field staff to aggressively track, control and deliver results
  • Maintain Change Order Log
  • Solicit Subcontractors and award contracts
  • Coordinate, submit, and track all project submittals
  • Develop project schedule, including subcontractors, and attend pre-construction meetings and progress meetings
  • Coordinate invoices to clients, including follow-up, and verification of payments
  • Provide job cost to date for all projects, review progress and status
  • Troubleshoot problems and drive weekly performance improvement

Education, Experience, Knowledge and other requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field experience
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience
  • Expertise with HCSS, Primavera, and Viewpoint (or equivalent systems)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to provide clear direction
  • Demonstrated character/integrity: the ability to support the company, its values, and fellow employees while maintaining a constant focus on exceeding client requirements and expectations
  • Heavy Highway experience with NJDOT, NJTA, and PENNDOT
